Mommy kissing baby

Here is a picture I adore, taken last year by Daddy. It's one of my favorites for sure. There's even a story behind this photo. We went to take our Christmas pictures as a family and after we were done with the family photo I took some individual shots of him with the baby. There were many adorable shots and then of course I wanted him to get some of me with the baby. As he was shooting he kept telling me how much I was going to love the pictures and that they were great, etc. Once we were done we got in the car and drove off. As I reviewed the pictures I realized that something went terribly wrong and none of them with me and the baby came out. I got upset at him so he drove around to find a new location and he made sure to get me some fantastic shots that I would never forget, since he is such an amazing husband. He did just that! Thanks Daddy from your girls.

Gucci Clothes so adorable

Oh these clothes are so cute from Gucci! I just fell in love with the little pink boots and of course the blue trench coat is just too cute. I can only imagine what they retail for...let's just
say these aren't your average "play clothes." Very cute pictures of Jennifer Lopez and her kids are on the site as well as clothes above. The little girl used in this campaign is
adorable.

Halloween Part 2

Whoa...a first time trick or treater is on the loose and looking for some delicious candy. At first she would just stare at the person giving away the candy and wonder what was going on but by the end of the day she was double dipping taking two candies at a time. Babies always want one of everything for each hand.

The firsts are always so special in a child's life and it was so fun to take her around and see all the other kids in their costumes and get lots of yummy candy for mommy and daddy to eat.

Seasons are a changing

Fall is here and Winter is on it's way and is in my opinion the best time of the year. There is nothing like taking a walk with the cool breeze blowing all around and hearing the sound of gorgeous leaves crunching below your feet. The colors of the leaves on the tree are truly inspirational. This is the time of year I am at my peak...I feel inspired, motivated and in love with nature. Time to break out those winter jackets, scarves and boots. This is also the time of year I like to take our Christmas card pictures. The colors of the leaves are gorgeous, it's not raining outdoors, and it's the season that puts a smile on my face.

Now that winter is coming we have been stocking up on warm clothing which has been fun for us to play dress up. Happy Fall to one and all! Almost time for making snowmen and sipping on hot cocoa but until then enjoy those beautiful fall colors!

A year ago my baby girl was born and in the blink of an eye here we are celebrating the first year of her life. Repeat...it's her very 1st birthday party! What, I can't believe it! It's a moment of mixed emotions for me. I'm so excited to celebrate her first happy, healthy year of life and at the same time I begin to tear up and wonder where all the time went.

I had so much fun at her birthday party and it was one of the first times that I let go at a function and didn't worry about perfection, I just let things happen as they would. It was such a blast and we were so lucky to have such wonderful friends and family there to celebrate with us. Both grandmas provided an outfit for her rock star like entrances. She started with an adorable pink tutu from my mom and ended with a gorgeous handmade traditional Indian suit from his mom.
A special thanks to everyone for coming and for all the great gifts. I would also like to give a special thanks to all the extra hands for helping prepare for party as well as keep it going. I feel so loved and I know Kira was thankful too.

Her walking equals me running

As she leisurely walks around the entire house going from room to room I follow in hopes that I will catch her from bumping her head hard on a wall or some toy that is lying in the middle of the floor. Of course this task is simply impossible for the most part but still I try. She has been walking now for about a month and now I have to figure out new ways to keep an eye on her. She is into absolutely everything! Ahhh! Our house is only semi baby proofed so I've gotta watch her like a hawk. Don't want to jinx anything but only a few very minor falls so far.
