You just have to let go

Since becoming a mom, there is so much to worry about and I'm trying to let go of things and realize that life is better when you just go with the flow. This also relates to the bumps and bruises of being a baby learning to walk. As she is exploring her new world and all the great places she can go, she gains a sense of independence and likes the way it feels.
Now that I am a mom I find myself looking back at so many situations from my childhood and things adults would say to me. Now I have become that annoying "adult"...I say things like, "Wow, I can't believe how big you are getting!" and "Be Careful." I hated, I mean hated when adults would say that to me. I would think to myself, "Duh, of course I'm getting older, that's what I do!" or "O.k. I will be careful just like always!" Children become a visible reminder of how fast life is going by and that life is not forever so we need to make sure to live it.

Summer

It's almost her first birthday and I am so excited for all her accomplishments so far. She amazes me every day and by the time my head hits that pillow each night I know I have enjoyed every moment with her. I know it's been a good day when my cheeks are aching with happiness....smiles represent the bliss I feel when I am with her. We are enjoying our summer together and loving every moment of it.

I LOVE being a mother! It's the best thing
I have ever done in my life and it's so rewarding!
It doesn't hurt either when you have a sidekick like the
one I have. She is so much fun and we get to spend
so much quality time together, I feel like
the luckiest girl alive.
She even helps me clean house when I need
an extra hand and of course who doesn't need
extra help when it comes to cleaning?

The first time swimming was so great, she loved every minute
of it and we can't wait to take her back.

A great site if you are pregnant

When I was pregnant I remember using this site all the time because so many people want to ask how far along you are and I just couldn't remember. Most sites will tell you when you are due but this is one site I found that would tell you exactly how far along you were in weeks. It's not the fanciest site but it gets the job done. A Fun Father's Day

We enjoyed a lovely day spending time together. Played a few games at Dave
& Busters and walked around and enjoyed the
fantastic weather. It was Kira's first time celebrating Father's
Day.

Really unique handmade baby mobiles

Pink Perch sure has the most creative handmade mobiles I have ever seen. They are so cute, it was hard to only feature a few. They range about from about $80 to $100 but they surely are unique and adorable. I know Kira would love to look up at one of these mobiles and daydream.
